Rolls Royce Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé exclusively for Dubai market

Rolls-Royce has introduced its beautiful new tribute to the golden era of Indian royals creating especially for Dubai Market the Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé

This limited edition model was conceptualised and hand-crafted by specialists at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, in honour of India’s relationship with the super-luxury brand.

This is the world’s longest relationships between India’s princes and Maharajas and one automobile manufacturer; over a period of five decades, the Maharajas purchased some 840 unique Rolls-Royce cars.

The luxury car manufacturer is now reviving the golden age of India’s motoring heritage though a collection of bespoke vehicles inspired by the Maharajas’ cars, the first of which is the Rolls-Royce Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé.

The limited edition model features a sparkling ‘Carrara White’ exterior and an emerald-green coachline. Peacock emblems that celebrate the national bird of India, also feature. A deep green roof retracts to showcase the chic interior, which features luxurious wood decking. The cabin is wrapped in crème light leather peppered with emerald-green accents.

The new car was exclusively presented during an Indian-themed evening event in Dubai last week: “Dubai is the only market in the world to receive this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind Bespoke Phantom Drophead Coupé, which has been two years in the making – not only an incredible coup for us, but also a strong reflection of the importance that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars places on this market,” explained Osman Abdelmoneim, General Manager at AGMC at the exclusive Dubai evening show.
