New Middle Eastern inspired Louboutin lipstick collection to be launched in September

Christian Louboutin is launching in September its beautiful new beauty collection; his first ever Middle Eastern inspired lipstick range.

To create this new collection, Louboutin got inspired by the Ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti who used kohl and red dye to paint her lips to get embellished.

Launching September 1 this year, the lipsticks come in 36 colours including the famous Rouge Louboutin. The colours are encased in striking gold containers, whilst the signature reds – or rouges – are surrounding in an opulent black, silver and gold design.

Each lipstick comes complete with a small ring fastened to the top so that a piece of silk or a gold chain can be threaded through and it can serve as an accessory for the owner – who can wear it around her neck, her wrist or fasten it to her bag.
The designer said “This precious object will be coveted by others. Suggesting a purse full of rare and precious stones that could have been discovered in Ali Baba’s cave, it will arouse lust and desire… and is made to be stolen.”

“Capturing the ornate aesthetics of Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement, this crown rests above a solid black body holding the emblematic red within.” says Louboutin
Regionally, the line-up will be exclusively available at Level Shoe District in the UAE.
