Christie’s International Real Estate opens office in Dubai


Luxury property brokerage Christie’s International Real Estate is expanding with the opening of their first office in the Middle East.

As CEO of the new Dubai affiliate, Brian Etemad, a licensed Attorney at Law from New York has been appointed to run successfully the operations of the real estate division of the famous auction company.

The launch has already been spectacular by putting a $99 million Arabic palace on the market showing the potential and development plans into the Middle East.

“Dubai now has all the merits of a market where we need to be. The government knows Dubai has to be a success,” said Joachim Wrang-Widen Middle East regional director.

“Dubai is seen as the centre of luxury in the region. We feel that this is the right time when the market has found its footing and stability. It’s the right time to launch for the local buyers and for international buyers through our network”. Christie’s International Real Estate, has now affiliates in 46 countries.
