Chalhoub Group to relocate its head office operations to d3 “Dubai Design District”

Chalhoub Group becomes the first retail partner of new D3 “Dubai Design District” development led by TECOM Investments to promote regional and international creations.

By transferring its headquarters from Jebel Ali to d3 Dubai Design district free zone, Chalhoub will allow young designers and emerging talents to get inspired from its retail business model and experience.

Indeed, Chalhoub group is a major player in the luxury industry in the Middle East for 60 years. Partner or franchisee of famous brands as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Dior Couture, Sephora, Michael Kors and Lacoste, the group has now 11 0000 employees in 14 countries in the Middle East and operates more than 600 own stores such as Tanagra and Wojooh.

Real platform to promote creation, art, design, and fashion, d3 will offer of office spaces, shops, galleries, workshops and design studios.

According to research undertaken by Bain, a leading research company, the global fashion market is growing at 10% over the last seven years with the Middle East featuring in the top 10 worldwide ranking with a market value worth €5.6B in 2012. Within that, the UAE is the largest fashion market in the Middle East representing 50% of the total market and Dubai, with its mix of high-end international retailers, commanding about 30% of the entire regional luxury goods market.
